We would like to thank all of our esteemed guests for attending last night’s iftar programme and we sincerely hope everyone enjoyed themselves and left feeling nourished and spiritually refreshed after the exchange of knowledge, experience, beliefs and hopes. Brother Jassim’s recounting of his story towards a true acceptance of the path of the Ahl al-Bayt [a] touched us all the most, may he remain firm on this path and achieve success, Insha’Allah. We would like to thank our guest of honour there Shabir Beg for his always having supported and guided us. And we would also like to thank Dr Salamati, Br Abu Jafar, the Jaffri brothers, Br Riaz Shiekh and Br Ahmed, may Allah [swt] bless you all and we hope to work with yourselves in the future. Also thanks to Br Azhar Beg for the great food at the great restaurant. And a big thanks to the youngsters without whom we wouldn’t be where we are today. Walhamdulillahi Rabbi ‘l-`Alameen for all that He [swt] has given us of food and comfort whilst there are people without either, and may He [swt] make things easy for them in this world and the next.
