The Scottish Ahlul Bayt Society was privileged to have been invited to the US Consulate dinner to mark the Fourth of July Independence Day and as a farewell reception to Zoja Bazarnic whose tenure as Principal Officer at the Consulate General has ended. Was great to meet with friends and to have seen the performance of Katie Weir singing the US national anthem. Katie is a Dance School of Scotland student and, coincidentally, a constituent of Anniesland, of which Bill Kidd, Chief Whip of the Scottish Government, is the serving MSP.
