April 2019
A week of celebrations in England.
Leicester (Masjid al-Husayn) – Luton (Masjid-e-Ali) – Reading (Masjid-e-Zainabiya)
The Islamic month of Sha’bān is the month of the Prophet and his family. This month symbolises love and it begins with celebrations to mark the birth of Lady Zainab. Lady Zainab and her mother Lady Fātima are the nucleus of the Shi’ism and can be described as its saviours.
In this month, Muslims are meant to reconnect with the spirit of love, compassion and charity. These are essential tools required if one is to fully benefit in the coming month of Ramadan. Selfless and empathy for all should evolve through this month.
