The Scottish Ahlul Bayt Society was delighted to have supported and participated in the Fifth Annual St Andrew’s Day Hampden Conga event yesterday organised by our good friend and partner, Church of Scotland Minister the Reverend Neil Galbraith, founder of aid charity Glasgow the Caring City, at Hampden Park.
The event was attended by hundreds of school children, and supported by the Deacon Convener, of The Trades House of Glasgow, Bruce Reidford, Trossachs SAR, Police Scotland, the emergency services, government officials, provosts and councillors, the Salvation Army, United Kingdom with the Republic of Ireland Glasgow Humane Society, and other charities. The event demonstrated the need for social responsibility and working towards improving child welfare and tackling child poverty.
