A Historic Meeting
Masjid al-Hussaini
On the Saturday 2nd November, a historic visitation to Masjid al-Hussaini took place at the kind invitation to host by Dr Idris Bhai Sahib, representative of His Holiness Syedna Mufadhal Saifuddin, the 53rd Dai al-Mutlaq.
The visitation marked a milestone in intra-religious dialogue, unity, brotherhood and mutual cooperation between these two Shi’a denominations. It was a privilege and honour to have met Prince Dr Qaidjoher Ezzudin, eldest son of the 52nd Dai al-Mutlaq and brother of the current Dai al-Mutlaq, as well as Dr Idris Bhai Sahib, Dr Zain al-Abideen Bhai Sahib and other community members.
The visit began with the remembrance of Imam Hussain (as).
The Bohra community is well known for its charitable ventures. It feeds 1500 families daily in London alone. It has regeneration projects, schools, universities and hospitals.
We pray for the success of this unity and mutual cooperation.
