We would like to thank the Ahl al Bait Centre in Glasgow for orchestrating the superb event last Friday which was attended by a host of esteemed dignitaries including, but in no way limited to, Archbishop Atallah Hanna from the Orthodox Church of Jerusalem and Archbishop Mario Conti of Scotland, and we thank them for having so kindly invited us to participate therein; it was a true honour. The speech delivered by the Archbishop was a stirring one in which he warned of the dangers of disunity and the hardships wrought therefrom and urged that Muslims and Christians be always united. We would like to thank all those who attended for making the event what it was, specifically the respected Archbishop of Jerusalem and Archbishop Mario Conti of Scotland, all of whom shared the same desire of ours to live in harmony and peace with one another, and to stand against oppression in all its forms, and wherever it takes root.
