Children’s School
The Scottish Ahlul Bayt Society is proud to hold a weekend Shī’a Ithnā ʿAsharī English Islamic School. The educational institution came to fruition in 2012 with the requisite help and support of select community members who have selflessly directed their attention to educating the youth; an issue of prominent standing and importance. We aim to inculcate within those aged 5-17 an immediate and correct understanding of Islam so they may achieve success and salvation in this world and the world to come. We would like to commend our volunteers for undertaking this most noble of works and for their standing by our cause; our success lies with them for, even despite the most proficient of efforts, one cannot achieve alone that which can be achieved with the aid of others. Praise be to God for granting us this success, may our acts be acceptable to Him and may we continue to prosper under the shade of His Mercy as the youth are instilled with the knowledge and the capability of becoming productive members of society, ambassadors of humanity, and persons of faithfulness, integrity and goodness.

The Scottish Ahlul Bayt Society is grateful to the Almighty for His Grace in allowing us to
launch our children’s Saturday School in Glasgow on Saturday 29th September 2018.
The Lady Sughra School (LSS) opened up for children of the community to enhance their
knowledge of the faith and to encourage active participation in society based on the
principles of compassion and good will. The team of teachers and pupils are collectively
excited at the prospect of creative and innovative learning. We are grateful for the
immense contribution of the teachers and the support of parents, and wish the pupils
every success in their academic endeavours in the years ahead. We thank our senior
cleric Moulana Sarfaraz for attending to formally open the school.
