It was a privilege for the Scottish Ahlul Bayt Society, and its Director-General and Chief Imam, Sayed Razawi, to have been invited to an address given by His Grace, Archbishop Bernadito Auza, the Permanent Observer of the Holy See to the United Nations. In attendance were senior representatives of religious communities at a meeting that highlighted the role of faith in policy and contemporary foreign affairs, and called attention to the need for faith leaders and peoples to channel their capabilities and efforts towards positive change-making at all levels, nationally and internationally, in upholding compassion and common virtues. Our gratitude extends to our friend Archbishop Leo Cushley for the warmth and hospitality, and as ever it was wonderful coming together with friends in fellowship.
