Director-General and Chief Imam of the Scottish Ahlul Bayt Society, Sayed Ali Abbas Razawi, speaking at a gathering of the UK’s Senior Faith Leaders on 12/09/16. The gathering formally reiterates the demands made in an open letter to the Prime Minister urging the Government to revise its policy towards refugees. Headed by the former Archbishop of Canterbury Dr Rowan Williams, the letter is signed by over 200 leaders and representatives of the Christian, Muslim, Jewish, Hindu, Sikh and Buddhist communities of the UK.
