The Scottish Ahlul Bayt Society are grateful to St Mary’s Cathedral, Edinburgh, and particularly the Provost, the Very Rev John Conway, for having again given members of the Shi’a Muslim community the opportunity to share in dialogue at a service of the Cathedral. The congregation welcomed members of our community as we mark the Holy Month of Ramadan. The gathering gave all the opportunity to discuss The Ordinance of the Fast, and to develop understanding between the people of our respective faiths. We were delighted to have seen old friends, particularly Vanessa of the Dundee Interfaith Association, and thank all those who welcomed us as guests with such hospitality.
